About the National Conference
The National Conference offers attendees an exchange of ideas and an opportunity to attend events and educational sessions which promote the growth of our profession. By making a commitment to attend the RCRA National Conference, you will acquire the tools to more successfully promote your programs and services; the management insight to motivate staff for peak performance and the know-how to maximize profits without sacrificing quality. Interviews will take place with leading recreation employers for internships, part-time and full-time position vacancies. Students, Professors, Vendors and Professionals are all welcome to attend.

Resort Reservations 

Room rate: $99 per night

Reservations must be made prior to Wednesday, October 9, 2014. All reservations can be made, modified or cancelled by dialing 1-866-460-7456. When making reservations, credit cards will be charged for the first room night.

Any cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Any guaranteed reservation not canceled at least 72 hours in advance will be subject to 2 nights room & tax applied to the credit card on file.

*If you’re not planning on staying at Grand Harbor Resort, there will be a surcharge of $75 per person/per night off property.


Where do I pick up my registration packet?
Attendees can register and pick up their conference packets at the RCRA Registration Desk on Saturday, November 8th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm or Sunday, November 9th starting at 9am. The Registration Desk will be open during specified times throughout the conference.


Airport
The closest airport is Dubuque Regional Airport, which is 9 miles from the Grand Harbor Resort& Waterpark. However, the resort is just a few hours drive from many metropolitan areas.CLICK HERE to find more direction options.

Transportation
The Grand Harbor Resort & Waterpark picks guests up at the Dubuque Airport. Guests mustcall the hotel to request pick up and must supply name and flight information to the hotel. Shuttleservice is free, tipping is highly encouraged.To return to the airport for departure, guests must request a shuttle at the front desk with dateand time. It is 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel.
